Water Conservation Research Center

Overall site plan located near the San Juan River

Long section displaying the elegance of  the spine walkway.

Long elevation describing the movement from the exhibition space to the labs and the living area.

Section of the Exhibition space. Parking below and a ramp that wraps the corner to create an interesting view of the ongoing exhibitions.

Section of the Lab and conference space. The development of the research is defined by the ability to educate the public.

Section of the living spaces where the employees will spend 6-8 months living and completing their research.

This set of plans will ultimately help describe the main idea of procession through the project while at the same time dividing private versus public spaces.

During different times of the day, the light passing through the openings will give protection to the people as they pass from exhibition to labs and living.

Using attractors, I developed panels of corregated steel that allow for less or more view of the river.

Exterior ramp being shaded by a digitally modified device created in Grasshopper.
