Modular Micro Unit

This rendering displays the scale of the proposed project while also describing the overall form in more depth.  As displayed, units have three designated views around the city; first towards the new park, second towards the new baseball field, and last towards the main buildings of uptown.

To clearly show the site within the context of the city it is outlined in red. North is directly vertical in this map showing Panther's Football stadium directly to the West.

In this overhead site plan, you can see the maximization of the site using the extents of the 100'x153' site footprint.

The above elevation shows the units that project their view into the new park.  The removal of units is where the program spaces have extruded through the facade.

In the above elevation there is the clear depiction of the units which face the new baseball field. It also shows the midway sun deck and patio space.

The final elevation shows the public spaces in the lower levels and the above units which face the city view.

This section of the building shows the stairway cores and unique design of the units.

The view from nearby the baseball stadium down Third St. describes the sun deck space and the overall form of the building.

The view from across the park looking down South Poplar St. shows how this proposal will fit into the city scape of the new part of the city and the growing park area.

This selection of the floor plans is describes how the public spaces are integrated into the facade as well as a more detailed idea of the sun deck and outdoor patio spaces. The entrance to the complex is unique Because it is off the cornerand passes under a large slab overhang.  The unit plans and configurations of when the balcony is in use or closed are shown above.  The murphy bed and dining room table are all able to be put away to allow for a more open and spacious quality to the design.
